JEFF
I enjoyed being a lunch buddy in 2006. I usually spent about an hour each Friday visiting my lunch buddy. Every day other male students would compete for my attention. In general, they need more male mentors.
ELIAS
On my first visit to the school, I was introduced to my mentee in the principle’s office as he had just been suspended from school, and his father was on his way to pick him up. Overall, I think the Lunch Buddy program is wonderful. I look forward to participating in the future.
SHANNON
It has really been wonderful overall. The teachers, the staff, the principal, the kids, they are all wonderful people and I am happy that I committed to the program.
WILLIE
HIS Way is my life line. The fellowship and spiritual sharing on Friday nights keeps me in the word. HIS Way has helped me be the man I knew I wanted to be.
